General Seitz, a battalion commander in the 517th , recalls "Task Force Seitz" and the textbook recapture of Hunnange.  During the Battle of the Bulge, the strategic capture of Hunnange ultimately led to the recapture of St. Vith which was critical to the Allied counter offensive in mid-January 1945.
